WebMaster -
non-toxic cobweb solution
WebMaster
is a new approach to spider control, using age-old remedies.
It
is made from natural vinegar and essential oils. No
petrochemicals or synthetics. No preservatives or
emulsifiers.
Nothing but pure natural ingredients made from plants.
You
may be pleasantly surprised at how well it works.
How it works:
1. Vinegar contains
5% acetic acid, which interacts with
protein.
In cooking we sometimes
use this interaction to tenderise meat. Since the web silk is
made of protein, the vinegar destroys it, easily dissolving the soft,
sticky parts - including the attachment
discs. So
applying it to the attachment
points unglues
the web from the wall, and dissolves its softer parts immediately.
For as long as it remains on the surface, no new attachment
points can be built there. More

and web structure
2.
The essential oils in Webmaster include Lavender, Eucalyptus,
Lemon, Peppermint
and Basil.
This combination is the result of
experimentation to find out which oils killed or repelled spiders and
ants most effectively, and they work synergistically with the vinegar
to achieve good control without poisoning the household.
To
Use: A
strong jet of WebMaster sprayed onto the places
where the web is attached will loosen it from the surface.
Sometimes the whole thing disappears. If not, it
can now be
removed easily with a brush or hose. The spiders will bail
out
and fall to the floor.
If
you want to destroy them you can continue to shoot them with a strong
jet of WebMaster. (Just spraying near them will not have much
effect. Direct
contact is
needed).
Otherwise, simply make sure that the spray remains on the wall
(if you hosed
the web down, respray afterwards using the mist setting).
It
will
stay there unless washed off for several weeks,
up to three
months, during which time no more webs can be attached there, and the
lingering scent of the essential oils will discourage the spiders from
returning to try again.
It
is possible, however, for a spider to climb back up and spin
a
new web alongside the sprayed area. So you may need to
respray a
couple of times to make sure the whole area is covered.
Once the initial infestation is under control, you should
only
need to respray every few months, and if you do that, the situation
will not get out of control again.
«« As
a bonus, ants, cockroaches and other insects are repelled by WebMaster
as well, and
I am reliably informed that cane toads HATE it. Give it a try and
watch what happens! »»

WebMaster 500mL
IMPORTANT!
Read the instructions for
using WebMaster. It's
not like the usual poison sprays you may be used to.
1.
Just spraying it near the spiders
will not have any effect because there are no residual poisons. There
must be direct
contact
for WebMaster to work.
2.
The aim is not so much to kill
spiders as to remove their webs
and stop them
from building more.
Caution:
Remember that this product is not diluted with water, and is therefore
quite acid. It is a good idea to test surfaces to be sprayed
first, and protect eyes and face when spraying.
